The Power Of Pilates


Pilates teaches breathing control with movement, body mechanics, balance, co-ordination and positioning of the body. Pilates has spread from a single studio in New York frequented by professional dancers, to a technique with world-wide appeal, practiced by people of all ages and backgrounds.

Learn how to breathe laterally, while the abdominal muscles are free to effectively contract, allowing for more efficient movement in exercise while stabilising and supporting the spine.
